Starmania is a rock opera by Michel Berger with a libretto by Luc Plamondon. The show was presented for the first time on April 10, 1979 at the Palais des Congrès in Paris.
Performed several times around the world, Starmania has been the subject of multiple adaptations in both English and French. The original 1978 studio album sold more than 2.2 million copies in France alone, ranking seventh among the best-selling albums nationally.
