After his notable appearance at Eurovision, the singer chose a song that calls for peace and solidarity. He decided to sing in both French and English to reach as many people as possible.

An engaged artist, Slimane did not hesitate to interrupt his rehearsals during the Eurovision semi-finale to deliver a message to the audience : "When I was a child, I dreamed of music, I dreamed of this dream of being a singer to sing about peace and sing about love. We must be united by music, yes, but also united by love and peace. Thank you very much."
