Saxiana Teens, the latest addition to the Saxiana collection, includes seven new and original pieces* for saxophone solo. True to the general purpose of the collection - extending the saxophone repertoire- these miniatures are specifically intendedfor teen saxophone players, in need of substantial intermediate-level musical material to help them develop their esthetic sense, improve their technique and enhance their creativity. Seven composers were commissioned to write pieces that would exploit the many possibilities of Adolphe Sax's instrument.
