Practical manual for learning to read notes, for viola players (3rd C clef / treble clef). Theoretical course + 180 progressive exercises.

As a viola and music theory teacher (music theory) at a conservatory, I propose in this book a pedagogy particularly adapted to the needs of viola students:
- theoretical reminders on the staff, the clefs and the notes of the scale;
- learning the 3rd line of C clef starting with the open strings, then the notes of the 1st finger, and so on until the entire staff is covered;
- learning the treble clef using the same system of reference notes, focusing on the much more frequent high notes;
- specific exercises in double notes and usual chords on the instrument, in each clef;
- exercises for changing the C/G clefs;
- excerpts from the viola repertoire.
