OFFRANDE

Kaija Saariaho’s Offrande was written as a wedding gift for Marianna Karttunen et Nicolas Saint-Bris in 2014. The first public performance took place on 13 February 2017 at La Maison de la Radio France, Paris, as part of the Festival Présences, dedicated to the composer’s music, and was given by Anssi Karttunen, violoncello and Olivier Latry, organ.
