Frederic Schlick started to play the accordion at age 8 and performed in public four years later, in various bands. This former fairground worker, who still operated a fairground attraction up to the 1990s, is not afraid of taking the initiative. Encouraged by well-known jazzmen, such as Birelli Lagrène or Art Van Damme, Frederic Schlick finds it easy to write music. His style is very sensitive and personal, and his tunes already sound like future standards.
