Twenty years after the publication for his first flute and piano sonate, Le Rire de Saraï, Guillaume Connesson is composing a piece where, this time, the narration leaves its place to the pleasure of singing. The 2nd sonate for flute and piano, written in 4 movements, is dedicated to the flutist Philippe Bernold, who created it on october the 26th 2022 at the international flute convention at the Aix-en-Provence music conservatory.
