I composed this collection of melodies for high voice (soprano/tenor) and piano in 2013–2014. Three poems by Goethe were set to music in a style inspired by Robert Schumann and Johannes Brahms: Schadenfreude, Am Flusse, and Die Freuden.
This revised 2025 version is dedicated to soprano Léonore Guizard and pianist Franck Lanone.
